[Today's Lisa Zate Topic] A short story; New Zealand food part 1

This is the breakfast I make every day

Well, the food culture of NZ is not so wide. Under the influence of England, the food culture has changed along with the changes in immigrants. Here, food from various countries can be made and eaten by the people of that country. India, South Korea, Japan. China, Samoa, Tonga, Vietnam, Mexico, Belgium, Brazil, Italy, USA, Thailand, etc. The most popular are dim sum and Japanese sushi. Not to mention Nando's, a Portuguese dish that you can take out, and McDonald's and KFC.

For snacks or lunch. Just a classic sausage

Bacon, scrambled / poached eggs, fried eggs, sausages and hashed browns are some of the most popular breakfasts.

NZ classic marmite for toast; Marmite (Vegemite, Australia) A yeast extract paste-like bread companion combined with various herbs and spices. It looks like Japanese nori seaweed, but it's salty and bitter like miso, but these kids have been eating it since they were little, so everyone loves it.

At night, due to the influence of England, fish and chips, roast, steak and boiled vegetables are very simple.

This is the standard. There are not so many kinds because the culture is shallow. It may be that it is NZ that you can easily eat the food of each country.

Next time, I would like to report on a different food.
