[Today's Lisa Zate Topic] Things to bring to overseas migration from Japan

Mental aspect of enthusiasm for studying abroad or immigrating abroad

Recently, the number of people who want to leave Japan and live abroad or work abroad is increasing. Certainly, it is possible to make it sharper than it was 10 or 20 years ago. This is also because the types of jobs have changed and the number of jobs that one person can do with a single computer has increased. In addition, the globalization of the world is changing the lifestyle and service provision that meet people's needs, but the acceptance of immigrants here in NZ has not changed yet. Rather, it was a little strict a few years ago.

No matter where you go, living abroad is not the same as "I've been on a trip for about two weeks." You have to be prepared for a considerable risk. I'm a foreigner in a culture you don't know, going to places you don't know and exchanging words you don't know. If you are a student, it is really wonderful to grow up and step into a different country to work abroad. However, unlike if you are not a student, there is no support inside or outside the university, and the country doesn't treat you as a foreigner, so 99% of self-care is required. It's not cold, it's not warm.

People who bother to move abroad for their own purposes. It is a fact that you can live even if you are not good at the language. However, you have to have a solid goal and purpose of where you want to live.

In case of emergency, it is better to get acquainted with people from your home country and make friends with them. Many Japanese people are not so good at speaking, so in case of emergency or trouble, one person will definitely help. It would be nice to keep the institution under control.

There is discrimination.

There is prejudice.

There are times when people are treated differently just because you are Asian.

But you have no choice but to move forward with your own goal and as you believe.
